Accessing Outpatient Lab Services

McLaren Health Plan Community has a preferred laboratory network arrangement with Joint Ventures Hospital Laboratories (JVHL). JVHL has an extensive network of outpatient laboratory service locations throughout the State of Michigan. To view the list of JVHL participating laboratories, please visit the JVHL directory. Select "McLaren Health Plan" as your Insurance Provider from the dropdown box and then click on "Find Locations".

Outpatient laboratory services should be received at a JVHL location to prevent additional out-of-pocket costs. Be sure to let your provider know you need to go to a JVHL laboratory when available.

If you reside in a county that does not have a JVHL location available, you may access another lab provider. Please contact Customer Service at (888) 327-0671, TTY: 711 to request assistance locating a participating lab near you.
