McLaren Medicare Wants You To Get Quality Care
McLaren Medicare’s goal is to develop a strong and collaborative relationship with you and your care team to improve your health. We do this by helping you get quality healthcare services including preventive care.
Our goal is to:
- Meet your health care needs
- Measure and monitor quality of services
- Improve clinical care through evidence-based clinical practice guidelines
- Integrate behavioral health and physical health needs
- Promote safety and cost-effective care
Our Quality Team oversees the integration of quality activities and information throughout the organization and compliance with internal and external standards.
McLaren Medicare takes quality improvement seriously by identifying areas where we can assist in your health care needs and builds strategies to see measured improvement throughout the year.
Medicare Quality Programs
McLaren Medicare works hard to provide you with free quality programs to help keep you healthy. Some examples are:
- Free preventive services
- Programs to help you manage chronic illnesses like diabetes or asthma
To ensure we are doing a good job, we review our quality measures every year. We look at the programs and services we offered, how they were provided, and ways we can improve. We measure success in many ways. One way is through quality scores, which are based on the care you receive.
Our most important goal is to provide you with access to high quality health care that meets your needs. Updates on our scores for our Medicare program can be viewed in the table below.
