Being fit is a way of saying a person eats well, gets a lot of exercise and
has a healthy weight. If you’re fit, your body works well, feels good and can do
all the things you want to do, like run around with your friends. Here a five
rules to live by, if you want to be a Fit Kid:
- Eat a variety
of foods, especially fruits and vegetables
- Drink water
and milk most often
- Listen to
your body – eating too much can be uncomfortable
- Limit TV time
– try to limit your TV time to 2 hours a day
- Be active –
try all kinds of sports and find the one you like the
best
Parents you can help too! Encourage your child to eat well and exercise. Show
your children how much fun it can be and you can be fit as well!
